Chairwomen Andrea Stark, Eddy Taylor, Judy Snyder and Roberta Kozloff invite you to attend H.O.W.'s 23rd annual Time is of the Essence Luncheon at The Beach Club, Palm Beach. This year's honoree and guest speaker is Isaac Mizrahi, American Fashion Designer and Actor. Special Guest is Adrien Arpel, a successful entrepreneur and pioneer in the skincare and cosmetic industry, best selling beauty author and a long-time supporter of H.O.W.
Frances Fisher, Betsy K. Matthews, and Christine Schott are serving as Honorary Chairwomen.
In a casual interview format, Isaac and Adrien will answer questions from Guest Moderator Pamela Fiori, former first female editor of Town & Country magazine, the oldest continuously published general-interest magazine in America, and authority on luxury travel and lifestyle.
The day also will include a curated silent auction and a prize drawing for an exquisite bauble to be announced!
Isaac Mizrahi:
Isaac has worked extensively in the entertainment industry as an actor, host, writer, designer, and producer for over 30 years. He is the subject and co-creator of Unzipped, a documentary following the making of his Fall 1994 collection which received an award at the Sundance Film Festival. He hosted his own television talk show The Isaac Mizrahi Show for seven years, has written two books, and has made countless appearances in movies and on television. He was also a judge on Project Runway: All-Stars.
He is Chief Designer for the Isaac Mizrahi brands, a division of Xcel Brands, Inc. In 2009, Isaac launched his lifestyle collection, “ISAACMIZRAHILIVE!” on QVC. His IMNYC collection is currently sold at Lord & Taylor and Hudson’s Bay Company.
Isaac Mizrahi has directed productions of A Little Night Music and The Magic Flute for the Opera Theatre of St. Louis. Annually, he directs and narrates his production of the children’s classic Peter and The Wolf at The Guggenheim Museum in New York. He has performed cabaret at Café Carlyle, Joe’s Pub, West Bank Café, and City Winery locations across the country.

Adrien Arpel:
Bestselling beauty author, successful entrepreneur and spokesperson for her cosmetic line on HSN she is an icon in the cosmetic industry and an inspiration and role model for women of all ages.
How did this beauty industry innovator get started in the business? Adrien has published 3 international best-selling beauty books, including How to Look 10 Years Younger, that have won her millions of fans with their practical, realistic ideas. She has been featured in major magazines (including Cosmopolitan, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and People) and has frequently appeared on national television shows, where she has dispensed cosmetic advice brightened with a sense of humor and her infectious personality. She is so well-known that her name has been featured as a crossword puzzle clue in the L.A. Times, New York Times and New York Magazine.
Pamela Fiori:
Prior to joining Town & Country, Ms. Fiori was widely credited with the success of Travel & Leisure, which she edited for 14 years. At both Town & Country and Travel & Leisure, she wrote monthly editor’s letters, feature articles, as well as interviews and profiles of prominent people such as Ralph Lauren, Robert Redford, Grace Kelly, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Giorgio Armani and Audrey Hepburn. Ms. Fiori has written seven books, most recently the history of Holiday magazine for Rizzoli, now in its fifth printing.
